Educational Qualification

| Professor | Essential for Medical Candidates (i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council, Act, 1956. (ii) A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD (Doctor of Medicine) or MS (Master of Surgery) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject or allied discipline. Essential for Non-Medical Candidates (i) A postgraduate qualification i.e. Masters's Degree in the concerned subject or allied discipline. (ii) A Doctorate degree from a recognized University in the respective subject or allied discipline. |
| Associate Professor |
Essential for Medical Candidates (ii) A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD (Doctor of Medicine)/MS (Master of Surgery) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject or allied discipline. |
| Assistant Professor |
Essential for Medical Candidates (ii) A Doctorate degree from a recognized University in the respective subject or allied discipline. |
ESIC Tamilnadu Recruitment Selection Process
(i) The selection will be made on the basis of the performance of the candidate in the interview before the Selection Board.
(ii) Results will be communicated through e-mail and will be displayed on the website.
(iii) Selected candidates will have to join immediately after receipt of the offer of appointment.
